Hey! I'm Jon.

I work at Google.

Pre-Google, I was the founding and solo designer at Vowel – a video conferencing tool for better meetings. Vowel hosts, records, transcribes, and stores your meetings. We won a few Product Hunt awards.

Previously, I was product design lead at Casper, crafting digital products that help people sleep better. Before that, I was a senior product designer at ustwo – designing products for Facebook, Google, Twitter, and the American Museum of Natural History.

When I'm away from keys, I enjoy cooking quite a bit. As of late, I've been having a lot of fun experimenting with sous vide cooking and making clear ice for cocktails. I also host a weekly podcast called Gabbing with Babish where we review a YouTube cooking show. It's real dumb and I love it.
